If your phone is locked by Lockster and it is not password protected immediately (even after enabling password lock in preferences), then you need to update Lock phone after setting on your phone.  Please follow the instructions below to update the setting.


Updating your HTC phone Lock phone after setting
  1. From the Home screen, press MENU, and then tap Settings > Security.
  2. Tap Set up screen lock.
  3. Tap one of the following:
    PIN
    Set a numeric password of at least four digits.
    Password
    Set an alpha-numeric password.
  4. Set the Security PIN/Password (Later this setting can be removed)
  5. On the Security screen, tap Lock phone after, then select immediately
  6. Now start Lockster App, press MENU, then tap Settings, and then check Enable Password Lock (The phone will ask for authorization,  please authorize it), now set Lockster Password (This password will be needed to unlock phone when locked by Lockster). 
  7. If you want to use a default password for the device then set Device Password (This will be the default device password, when the device is not locked by Lockster).  Please look at tip below.
    Tip: You can also clear the Device Password if you do not want any password for device by default.

Changing your screen lock

  1. From the Home screen, press MENU, and then tap Settings > Security.
  2. Tap Change screen lock.
  3. Enter your current screen lock to confirm that you want to change it.
  4. Choose None if you don’t want to use a screen lock.
