Lockster

Your kid grabbed your phone and won't give back?? Lockster comes to your rescue. With Lockster, you can lock your active phone either at certain time of the day, or by sending it a text message.

How it works:

With Lockster you can lock your active phone at a Set time (eg lock phone at 10:30A.M) or a Set timer (eg lock phone after 30 minutes) or by simply sending an SMS. Once locked, you can unlock your phone by using a preset Lockster password or by using a preset device password or by not using any password in which case it will be use the default scroll lock.

Please follow the steps below to enable and configure the app.

Enable the App: App can be enabled by first clicking the “Enable Application” button and then by clicking the “Activate” button.

Configure the App:

Setting Password:

Case 1: You already have a device password set and you want the Lockster app to use the device password when it locks your phone:

                No more configuration needed. You can go ahead and Set the Lock time or the Lock timer and when it expires your active phone is automatically locked and you can use the device password to unlock.

Case 2: You already have a device password but you want to use a different password (Lockster password) only for Lockster app:

                Go to “Menu” or “Settings” and click the “Enable Password Lock”. Then click the “Set Lockster” password tab and you can set a password. This password will only be used to lock your phone when your phone is locked by Lockster. Now you are ready to use the app. You can go ahead and Set the Lock time or the Lock timer and when it expires your active phone is automatically locked and you can use the Lockster password to unlock.

Case 3: You don’t have a device password and you want to set a password only in Lockster so your phone is password protected only when your phone is locked by Lockster:

                Go to “Menu” or “Settings” and click the “Enable Password Lock”. Then click the “Set Lockster” password tab and you can set a password. Once this is done you need to click the “Set Device Password” tab and set it to the Lockster password that was set in the earlier step. Setting the device password will not password protect your phone when your phone is not locked by lockster. App is now ready to use. You can go ahead and Set the Lock time or the Lock timer and when it expires your active phone is automatically locked and you can use the Lockster password to unlock.

Case 4: You already have a device pattern:

                Currently you cannot have pattern for device and password for Lockster. No more configuration is needed. You can go ahead and Set the Lock time or the Lock timer and when it expires your active phone is automatically locked and you can use the device pattern to unlock.

Setting SMS code: Setting the SMS code enables you to lock the phone immediately once the SMS is sent with the lock code to your phone. This helps when you have not set a Lock time or timer. Cool isn't it. But to use this feature the SMS code needs to set. This can be set in “Settings or “Menu” by enabling the SMS lock code option and setting the SMS code you want to use.

So this is it. Lockster is enabled and configured!!
